Arriving in Finland and Mission Home Tour

Arriving at the Helsinki Airport welcomed by President and Sister Rawlings.  Those that greeted us, but not in the picture including an old mission companion Brother Holopainen, office staff Sister Locke (who was from the same ward in Newport Beach that Claude Hicken lives), Richard and Eliisa Smith (office couple) and the assistants Elder Heaney, Elder Tippets and Elder Kiuttu.

The front of the mission home.  This is a beautiful home that was just purchased by the church.  We were the first mission president and wife to move into the home.  The home is in Espoo, the neighboring city north west of Helsinki, and just 2 miles north of the temple.
